Why Are Liberals Viewed as Being Unpatriotic?

This has been an interesting day of surfing for me. First, I went to Redstate.org and found an article that sought to answer the question of why liberals are often viewed as being unpatriotic. To see the article, click here.

Then my mind when back to the Rall article (referred to in a previous entry) and then to a post that I saw on Common Ground, Common Sense: Celebrate the 4'th of July: Burn a Flag. Note that his post may well be archived soon and so the link might not work for very long.

I gasped! Fortunately, many of the other posters got right on it. Don't get me wrong: I do not approve of a Flag-protection amendment to our Constitution. And, I understand being frustrated and angry with our country from time to time. But, I think is posts like these that give us such a bad reputation within the general public.
